Learning task 3
This is the largest learning activity for this topic. You have spent some time researching about a holiday destination on your own now it's time to work in a group.
Working in groups of 3 or 4 it's time to plan your own trip around Australia, each group will plan, research costs and present their own journey. Your task is as follows ...
Imagine you are a family who are planning to take a trip around Australia, using the research skills you have already developed create an itinerary which details where you would go.
Using excel create a spreadsheet which details each stopping place, the cost of that stay, work out how many miles it is between each stop and enter that aswell.
Use the information on the excel spreadsheet to allow you to create a powerpoint presentation to 'sell' your itinerary to the rest of the class.
For this part of the task you are allowed to use a maximum of one destinations from "Are we there yet?", so choose wisely if you choose to do this.
All members of the group must have input into this project, each member must research at least one destination on your tour and it is expected that you will share the presentation equally between you all.
